I wish I found the Acting Center sooner. But I found them soon enough. It did not take as long as I thought it would to Undo a couple of years of validation seeking and being in my head with every acting teachers "notes" dictating my art.

You come here and you immediately learn that receiving someone's opinion on your work does not make you a better actor. Just doing the work does. And what even is "the work?" Well, The Acting Center makes it simple for you. They define what it means to be an actor and they teach you how to "live" as your character. And then you just practice living....Without judgement.

In my first 2 months at the acting center I got callbacks. I booked! I am truly proud of Every single audition I have done since joining-Not because someone told me they were good auditions, but because I knew they were. The proof is in the results. This is a truly safe space. No pseudo psychological mind games to "get you there". No "notes" that are really just a teachers opinion. This is about YOUR work and YOUR work only.

The teachers are brilliant, kind and want to see you succeed. The students are a reflection of this mindset. You will become a better actor...

I absolutely love, love, LOVE The Acting Center! This is hands down the best acting studio I've ever attended. As someone who has studied with many teachers across NYC and LA, I can honestly say I’ve never encountered tools and techniques as amazing as the ones being taught here. I’m having so much fun exploring and applying these methods while letting go of my self-criticism and fully using my imagination. I can’t say enough great things about this place. I know we all have doubts about trying schools we haven't been to (can i trust the teachers or are they traumatizing and mean? am i better off studying another technique? how are you supposed to improve without feedback? maybe i want the teachers to be mean?!) Long story short, we want to be intentional about where we spend our money because there are so many schools to choose from.

But after 20 years of training at all sorts of places, this is the safest space I've found. TAC's original method is effective like nothing else, and it's the only school I recommend to people nowadays.
