If youāre a Christian or anyone for that matter, I would not recommend working here or shopping hereā¦
I went in because I like bookstores but as a Holy Spirit filled believer I definitely felt a demonic presence in this store!
ESPECIALLY as I went upstairs. It just felt off and just creepy.
You can tell they have invited the demonic in by some of the decorations as you go upstairs. All horror type pictures and decor that people are blind to the fact that yes these things invite demons into a space.
Wonder why you keep having nightmares? You may have horror movies in your house or keep watching it yourself and you just invited the demonic in without realizing
People think āghostsā and āhauntingsā are a real thing but what youāre actually experiencing is the demonic having access to a space and they only have access if again, someone invited them in.
And Iām sure whoever owns or owned this place, they invited those demons in there. You can tell by how foundly they talk about the āGhost Storiesā
What youāre really experiencing is DEMONS
And people will think youāre crazy for saying that but read your Bible. Plenty of examples of possession and demonic occurrences in there.
Read EPHESIANS 6:10-12 also.
People donāt realize until they get to Hell unfortunately that they were being tricked by demons or āghostsā the whole time and end up eternally damned and tortured.
But you donāt have to end up there! Jesus paid the price for sin and wants all to come to Heaven! But not all wants to. But if you are one of the few who do reading this please read and believe ROMANS 10:9 and Repent for your sins to God because weāre ALL sinners!
Buy a Bible from a different store and come to Jesus because being eternally damned isnāt worth it. The Lake of Fire definitely isnāt worth turning our nose up to the truth!
Donāt be fooled by demons and donāt engage with them, talk with them, invite them anywhere, nothing!
Talk to Jesus. Thank you for reading! And stay away from this demonic/...

It has many of the hallmarks youāve come to expect from the Last Bookstore brand featuring fun alcoves to sit and read, both new and used books for sale, a thrifty $1 used book rack on the sidewalk and the design details that make it more than a bookstore. This time they bend toward the arc of the East Asian because of the influence of Designers Views contributions. Thereās a particular emphasis on elephants in the front room which is fun. Overall this is an entertaining experience as well as a good one for the serious bibliophile. The selection of books isnāt extensive. But itās well curated. And Iām excited to see how it expands into the space as they settle into their location! We visited the day after the grand opening...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDenizens of Los Angeles are likely unaware of the multitude of first class bookstores here, which few other cities can rival. Growing up in L.A., I recall Midnight Special, Dutton's, Gene de Chene, among others, all long gone. But since the Barnes & Noble/Borders/early Amazon era, which dealt a crushing blow to bookstores in the '90s, quality new and used bookstores have returned in a major way and of course, The Last Bookstore downtown is one of the best. This new outpost in North Hollywood is similarly massive and attractively decorated. I don't remember there ever being a bookstore in L.A. quite like these two. Though I can dig a dusty bookstore with cats, these are not that at all. Books are in neat orderly categories and very findable, prices are reasonable and you will want to spend some time perusing...
