the food was low quality with the fish with a lot of tough, stringy sinew which is understandable if the price is lower but it was over $18 for a regular bowl. originally, i was planning on getting scallops and yellowtail and ahi tuna but when i saw the fish in person, it was clear that the quality of the fish and the amount of time it was out was worse and longer. i understand that poke places cant always have the most fresh ingredients but the standard especially for raw seafood was disappointing. the person working also brought the salad cardboard box from the floor and put the box on top of the counter where all the food is (the server could have refilled the salad section using the plastic bag the salad was in or put only the plastic bag on top). my friends and I also chose this spot because of the late closing time but when we were about to eat there, the guy said the store was closing at 9:30 even though the website and door sign said they were closing at 11 (we got there around 9). there were also a lot of topping that differed from the website ordering. when mentioning that the website might be incorrect, he just ignored me instead of clarifying what the actual closing time is. overall, service is not the most important part of poke especially since it's cafeteria style but it was clear that the food quality and health standards were not up to par with the price and it felt like the tip was unwarranted due to the...

I recently had the misfortune of trying the Poké bowl from Poke Home. Let me tell you, it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. First off, the fish they used was clearly past its prime. It smelled like the ocean floor on a hot day and had the texture of rubber. I couldn't even stomach two bites before I had to throw the whole thing away.
To add insult to injury, when I called the restaurant to express my disgust, the employees had the audacity to tell me that their fish is "good." Are you kidding me? It's like they've never even heard of the concept of quality control. And if that wasn't bad enough, they had the nerve to hang up on me mid-conversation. Talk about terrible customer service.
I pride myself on being a foodie, someone who knows good food when they taste it. But let me tell you, this Poké bowl was so far below average that it doesn't even register on the scale. For $22, I expected something at least edible, but what I got was downright inedible.
Save yourself the trouble and avoid. Trust me, you'll...
Read moreWas very surprised to find a poke place here. Thought I would check the reviews and see what others thought. This place lived up to the majority of reviews. The service was very pleasant and attentive.
There is a great variety of proteins. Portions are good. The mixed greens option for a base is great. So many toppings to choose from. The extra .70$ for avocado is a good deal.
The gal who served me made sure that she had included all that I asked for. Handled my order with care. Asked good questions to find out what I liked and also to make suggestions on a sauce.
As for the fish... I found it to be fresh and flavorful. It was mixed very well with the sauce that she suggested. I went with the house sauce. It was tangy and a hint of spice. Complimented everything I had chosen in the bowl. I had the large bowl with Salmon x2, scallops, yellowtail, albacore.
Great experience.
Would definitely...
