Bad for rental investment because of homeless nearby and lots of break ins being off Manchester. Like somebody said previously, management often not willing to respond sometimes, but quick to write notes and warnings. Probably geared for 55+ (majority are senior owners). Kids are frowned upon and there are almost none. Noise from Manchester with the liquor store and Yum Yum Donuts probably restrict the experience, but it's LA. The on-site manager, is liked by some, and others battle him. The pros: It is super quiet inside, since seniors police noise or dog barkings immediately. The occasional college students are typically instructed by their owners to keep it quiet. Also close to the airport landing strip at LAX so if you travel often or are an airport worker, as long as you don't mind the vibration or exhaust from the planes taking off, you are good. The runway is just a few hundred feet away. Also if you rent, average 2600 for 2 bed bath it is quite good these days. So renters maybe ok, but owning, might not be...

Management and HOA are not the easiest to deal with- old mindsets.. Lots of conflicting messages regarding rules and policies when I moved in If nothing breaks you're good When you need something immediate, good luck. Management assumes you know the proper steps to take and rude with replies. There are some friendly people here and others are the complete opposite. The HOA assessment is the cheapest in the area- the complex does lack some important things like cameras and some common area updates and modernization. Building style is outdated and no one seems to want to update it as there are always other more important building issues that need repair versus building carpet and outdated fixtures and furniture.

It comes across as they listen to concerns / issues. They pick and choose what they want is important to listen to and make changes.
