Los Gatos Elite — Attraction in Los Gatos

We recently attended a trial class at this gym, and while the overall program structure seemed ok (water break every 10 mins), we left with serious concerns about both safety and communication. During the class, there were multiple (2+) incidents where children were pushed off of taller mats. One child fell completely to the floor, and what was most concerning was that the coach nearby did not appear to notice either time.

Accidents can happen — that’s understandable. But when higher equipment is involved, attentive supervision is critical to prevent injuries. In this case, not only did the incident occur, but there was no immediate intervention or guidance from the staff who were nearby.

Afterward, I emailed the gym three separate times to raise the safety concern and received no response. Instead, my child was auto-enrolled into a class without my consent, and I had to call the gym directly to cancel and make a complaint. The issue was eventually escalated to a manager, who reached out a week later by phone. But after that call, there was no follow-up at all.

This lack of responsiveness and accountability reinforced our concern that safety feedback may not be taken seriously here. We truly wanted to like this place, but after our experience it’s hard to feel confident that children are being closely monitored in ways that ensure both their physical and emotional safety.

I’ve had 2 birthday parties in a row at LGE for my daughter because she loves the venue and the staff so much. They throw such a great party and are super helpful, responsive and easy to book. I just showed up 20 minutes before the party with my decorations and they took over. From putting up the decorations to entertaining the children to serving them, cleaning up and loading everything into my car for me. Everything was done for me efficiently with great service. My two boys (7 and 10) attend Ninja Zone every week (this is really great gymnastics meets parkour marketed for boys and it’s awesome) and they absolutely love it. Their coach is wonderful and encouraging. We decided to do a double birthday party this weekend and it was a total hit. Everyone had a blast! The two young ladies running the party were organized and wouldn’t let me help — served all the kids pizza and cake. Cleaned up. Were polite and engaging. And kept all the kids running and jumping and having so much fun in the various equipment rooms. 10/10...
