My favorites: -matcha shortbread: the perfect not-too-sweet treat with rich matcha and tart dried cranberries. One order comes with 16 cookies total. -choco chip: can't go wrong with a classic choco chip with flaky salt -coal pudge: seasonal winter flavor with two types of dutched cocoa. Reminds me of the outside cookie of an Oreo, only soft almost like a cake or brownie

Excellent cookies that remind me of the old school, original Levain in NY (the current Levain cookies seem too sweet, but that’s for another review). The location is too far for me to visit regularly, so they’re a treat for me. I visited the new store for the first time, and they’re a bit more expensive than I remember them being at the pop ups, but ingredients costs have gone up. Still, $7 is pricey for a cookie. Taste wise, I love that they’re not too sweet, but I’m not a huge fan of white chocolate. They do have options without it, but it seems like the interesting/creative flavors have it included. I also would like to see more flavors with nuts. The gourmet chocolate chip was sold out when I visited yesterday which was a bummer since they recently featured it on their IG and I was hoping to try it, but hopefully I can make it to the store earlier in the day next time. I never thought a cookie would change the way I viewed the world - then I had Batch 22. I've been ordering with Batch 22 for close to 2 years now and I have literally never had a bad cookie. From the Campfire pudge that first piqued my interest, to ordering the Pink Lemonade cookies weekly cause I couldn't get enough. From the sweet crunch of a cornflake pudge, to the childhood memories of Mint chocolate chip. The delicate heat from the ginger molasses to the perfect balance of coffee/toffee. Even their classic, gourmet chocolate chip cookies are unmatched. And if that's not enough, Amy (owner) is such a pleasant, kind, amazing person!
