If I could rate this place a zero I would. We had a terrible customer service experience yesterday. My 94 year old father asked the manager of the All Peddlers on Preston if all sales were final and she answered loudly "YES ALL SALES ARE FINAL". He thanked her and she turned and walked away. My dad then said to my mother he didnt like her attitude. She overheard this and called him out on it when he went to buy something, embarrassing him and upsetting him, which absolutely wasn't necessary. We will never go back in there. I tried to defend my dad and she started coming down on me. Im 54 and never have I ever witnessed a manager with such poor people skills. I want the public to know before you go in here that you will have to deal with terrible customer service. It is sad but she thinks she can get away with this type of behavior. Anyone who would upset a frail 94 year old man definitely has a cold heart! She also said she was surprised my dad would want to buy from "her" since he said he didnt like her. My dad told her he didnt say that and she still wouldn't let him buy some Christmas bells he wanted for our door when we were leaving....Terrible!!!! I hope someone reads this. I worked in customer service for years and i had plenty of people upset me but I never showed it to the customer. She really has a lot to learn! A lot of business is going to be lost if management doesn't get...
Read moreA deplorable and classless place! The cashier, apparently the owners sister with the 1970's mullet was extremely rude and unprofessional when I was checking out. The businesses policy is to show a photo ID with all debit/credit purchases. Understandable...the problem came in when I couldn't immediately find my ID, that she became visibly impatient. I did however have tons of cards, SSN card, and I politely asked if she would use any of those for verification? She rudely told me NO! And my husband, who was unaware of what was going on, walked out the door with the single inexpensive item we were purchasing. She proceeded to yell, "stop him" as to insinuate we were stealing. I dug in my purse again and found my ID seconds later and gave it to her. She continued to be argumentative and rude. Apparently she forgot I was the customer. If you want to be verbally ridiculed and treated horribly as the customer, go to All Peddlers. If not, spend your money elsewhere. Louisville has too many quality thrift shops to be disrespected as...
Read moreIf you are a vendor I would advise not to open a booth. I had a booth there for over a year and I found out that management was telling people that the appliances in my booth did not work. I only found out because of a a customer from FB told me that they were told not to buy appliances in my booth. Makes me wonder how long it had been going on. How many times had that happen in the past and I was a little short on the rent or how many more appliances could have sold? When I confronted employees and I was told, and I quote, "I don't want to have to deal with the customers." Rude. I showed management that the refrigerator worked and she told be, and I quote," Tough, if you don't like it you can leave." Rude to vendors and customers. All she would have had to say was that it was a misunderstanding and I would have moved on. The need to be rude when not necessary shows some kind of unwarranted entitlement. I will never shop there and will not have a booth before I...
