I have been here 3 total times. ALL 3 times have been bad experiences. This last time will be the final time. I requested a chicken sandwich which I normally get because I don’t care for the oversized wings. This day we were told they were out of chicken breast so I ordered the chicken wings. The wings were not fully cooked. I bit into one drum and knew instantly it was still partially raw. Two other wings were not cooked fully thru. Needless to say, the next day I was sick. The only positive experience from this was that the wings were removed from the tab which obviously weren’t eaten. The 1st two visits were bad customer service and food quality. (Cold food, hair in food the other). Those things I feel like can be accidents that happen in any restaurant so I was willing to give it a 3rd try. The vibe of the restaurant isn’t bad, the waiter was very nice, and the manager did take the wings off the tab. One thing I didn’t like customer service wise was the smell of smoke on one of the waiters. Seemed like they came straight from outside smoking a cigarette and didn’t wash their hands. This location definitely dropped the ball. Quality of the food should be the #1 priority especially when dealing with chicken products. The two days in a row of being sick definitely has canceled this establishment from my places to visit...

Putting my reluctance aside, this place surprised me with its late lunch popularity and pleasant publike but larger ambience.
My naked wings, hot sauce served on the side for dipping, along with ranch dressing for further embellishment, were large, crispy and tasty with good clean chicken flavor as only mature chicken can be. It's sad to see the tiny, immature chicken parts most places have reduced themselves to serve. If only by default, this makes Rooster's a standout. Ya gotta give em a try!
But guess what? The wings were not the only standout discovered on this visit. They serve the best chicken noodle soup in town. The chicken, they call it rooster, is shredded, the noodles are broad and fairly thick, and the broth is slightly thickened with corn starch, giving it that slick, clear, rich, chicken gravy like taste. I will be getting that again for lunch.
Service was great as well, with speedy delivery to the table. The crowd was surprisingly large for late lunch on Monday, a mix of young professionals, retireees and the usual hard to define bunch of others who manage to eat late in sight of...
Read moreThis place always seems to be hopping whether it's it's a weekday night or weekend. The staff always seems very helpful and friendly whether you are having a birthday party or coming in for the big game. There is large TVs throughout the establishment and you always have a good view of the game the bathrooms always seemed to be very clean and there is plenty of parking for this location. On our last visit we had a Christmas party using the back rooms which they catered For Us supplying plenty of food along with three bartenders that kept the drinks flowing all night and the beer ice cold. They have a great lunch time menu and they seem to know how to get the people in and out so you won't be late getting back to work. The menu is quite large and has a number of different Burgers along with many healthy items including salads. They also have some personal pizzas one of my favorites is the chicken barbecue you can't go wrong with one of their sandwiches and they do have a very large number of different appetizers. but when it's all said and done that you can get their wings with a number of different sauces and both...
