Kentucky Flea Market — Attraction in Louisville

Visited this event last weekend (02/24/24) and it was better than I anticipated. There was a wide variety of items and there were numerous vendors. It took us about 2hrs. to walk the entire event (Moving at a swift pace). There was not much that interested me personally, but our kids found several items from jewelry to toys at reasonable prices. It wasn't a bad way to spend the day since the event was free to enter and we received 1/2 our parking fee back. I don't know that I will go out of my way to make the next event, but if you are trying to find a way to kill some time out of the cold, it's not bad. I will say that parking was ridiculous. There were at least 3 events taking place simultaneously and we were ushered from the main gate to park all the way by Broadbent Arena. I drove all the way around and parked in the main lot, but it was quite full and we still had a decent walk. It just depends on what you think of when you hear flea market. If you like the old antique items then don't bother going. It's vendors selling mostly newer stuff and when you see 1 of an item at the booth just know you will see at least 2 more vendors selling same thing. The only thing I enjoyed was the overstock which I went on Sunday so it was 1.00 per item as you had to dig thru boxes and fight others to get thru plus their children. Alot of stuff I saw at the booth were overpriced as saw some items but not for the price they wanted. 12.00 for parking and you better know which way to enter. Flea markets I always a cool place to shop at. But this one is kind of unique they have some awesome stuff and some awesome people working there. you can find some very different stuff and some of the same stuff that we like to shop for. I like flea markets because they give you good deals good prices and very good quality of stuff.
