I live half a mile from Waverly plark and i take my dogs to Waverly dog park and they enjoy the park except for this year it looks like the park is condemned the grass ,is up to my knees the trees have grown plum over the fence and the fence has had trees fall on it the rails are bent and not holding anything up and the fence its self is sagging to the ground!!!!! Also I have never seen any doggy bags ever ?? Last year i let this go but enough is enough The parks are funded threw tax dollars so my question is if my taxes are funding people to have pay checks cant my dogs have a nice clean kept park ??? Iam totally disappointed and cant believe there's people that have a good job like Metro parks but they obviously don't take pride in their work !!! I hope this matter is address asap because I won't stop here with my issue if i have to go to the news or mayor i want what my taxes are paying for! ...
Read moreI visited Shawee, Cox,Chickasaw, Camp Taylor and George Rogers Park this weekend. I was very saddened by the condition. The grass hadn't been maintain and there was litter all over the place. I also visit some of the parks in the East end Veterans to name a few and it was the complete opposite.
