Just had the occasion/need to park and wait at the top of Joe Creason Park while my friend dug up the address of the house he was staying at while his was being renovated.
It just happened to be right at sunset, and the park was alive with familial activity, walkers, joggers, picnickers and the likes and they were all flocking around, on, near, inside all of the green spaces that this community just saved with their impassioned voices p er these past weeks and months.
To all of you I say BRAVO & CONGRATULATIONS & most importantly THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY CHILDHOOD AND FUTURE MEMORIES!
Your actions literally saved this irreplaceable gem of a park for now and for generations to come. ❤️
I am and will always remember you as heroes and champions of the highest order in this new world of chaos where developers and politicians rarely, if ever, side with the public no matter how loud their voices or how strong their opposition.
Thank you to each and every one of you who stood up and kept Joe Creason Park...

Always such lovely plant and animal life to behold here as well. Just the complete package for an ideal recreational area that leaves the typical park in the dark, void...
