African Outpost — Restaurant in Louisville

Me and my daughter ate here last year and was very impressed with the food quality and quantity . The chicken tender meals were similar to those from the food truck at the Cincinnati Zoo. Hand breaded and good size. We went this past Monday and wanted to get them again. We had been telling the wife about how good they were. Unfortunately , this time they were nasty. Seemed more like mass produced for school cafeteria . Flat, tough, and a hard batter. Very disappointed compared to last year.

Will give them one more try. Hopefully, its just a supply issue and this is not what we can expect...

Ordered a burger and it never came out :( waited an hour for it and I saw many people who ordered l after me receive their food but to no avail I didn’t get mine and asked to be refunded because if I won’t get the product I paid for I should get a refund. Service was awful, lazy teenagers working there who don’t have good customer service skills. I know they’re young and all but they should at the very least cook the cook jaja. Would love to rate the food but I obviously...

Great place to stop and grab a bite to eat and a cold beverage. Located in middle of the zoo. One of the 2 restaurants in the zoo. They recently changed the way your food comes out. It now comes in washable foodwere and silverware. No longer is it coming on paper plates and bowls. And no more plastic forks,knifes,and spoons....
