We order food from here 1 to 2 times a week sometimes more. Our order are usually for 2-3 people and we tip well. Not any longer will we do buisness with Wingzone. Have had trouble in the past with getting food delivered in a timely fashion, no matter if it is a peak time like Sat night or 3 o clock during the week. So we except they can be slow but last night was ridicules.
We had ordered our food and waited a little over a hour and called, we was told the order was on it's way for delivery. 30 min later we still have not received our food. We called to tell them to just cancel we realy did not want wings that has been sitting in a car for over 30 min. (The person on the phone could careless and was not apologetic and just said ok and that was it.. Well the driver had called at the same time as we was getting off the phone. So we called the driver back and told him we cancled the order but asked if he was here. And his response was "I guess not!" My wife asked him again well are you here cause we wouldnt let the food go to waste and his response was again "I guess not!". So I went outside to get the food and was furious. The driver was not apologetic an made me angrier and as I told him off he was like well I will give you the food. So when I walked over to grab the food he took it away and started just dangling it with one finger and said well you cursed at me.
Damn rite I cursed at him. He was nothing but smugged and not apologetic. So I stormed off and we ordered $40 of food from Spinilies instead (who usualy in the past have bad service but past two times has stepped up thier game) (Come to find out we had problem with the same Wingzone driver the last time for being slow and rude) usually the drivers are nice and we are understanding. Their is a older balding gentlemen that was awesome in the past but the young kid with glases and dark hair needs to find a new job if this one is to tough on him.
We understand it gets busy but this is a regular problem we have had no matter if it's on a Saturday night at 10pm or 3:30 pm on a Tuesday. So when the driver says well we are realy busy.. What the excuse on Tuesday. Sounds like you all need to hire more drivers and ones with a little customer sevice and buisness since. Oh and the manager last night could careless and had us on hold for 30min till we hung up.
So needless to say we was regular customers who order multiple times a week at home plus at my wifes work she manages they would get lunch there once a week. Not any longer. We can get takeout at BW3's or the many pizza places that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food was good and decently priced. But an FYI. I signed up for email and then text updates about my order. Not text updates about specials or sales. I get a first text saying my order is being prepared. I'm expecting something more eventually. And nothing. No text. No call. Nothing. I call almost 30 minutes later to check on it or see if i'll get a text when it's ready or what. They say it's ready. I'm not sure for how long. But I never got another text after the initial one and when I checked the order on the site, it was still on processing. So DO NOT rely on that. Luckily my food still had a little bit of warmth to it and it DID taste good. But obviously not what it could have been had it been picked up right when it was done. I was told most to-go orders are done within 10-15 minutes after placing. I know the clerk working can't really do anything about the text issue, but wing zone needs to get it together and change something for that text message alert. Like either put a note along with processing notice saying it will be so many minutes until it's ready or just get rid of it and leave the "sign up for specials" thing. They also forgot our ranch, carrots + celery (that we paid for š). We only live 7 minutes from the store, so we called twice and were told someone was on the way both times, but nobody arrived until 45 minutes after our second call. Our food was marked as delivered 45 minutes before we ever got it, so we called to make sure it wasnāt taken to the wrong address. We eventually got the order, I had to warm everything up in the air fryer, but the wings were still flavorful and juicy. Everyone we spoke to at the store was super nice and apologetic. I have worked in restaurants for half my life, I know how things can go, I know Sunday nights can be busy. But if there is going to be this big of an time issue, please alert your customers ahead of time so they arenāt waiting until 10pm for chicken wings that they ordered at 7pm :(
