Margaret's Fine Consignments — Attraction in Louisville

Rude bitter old ladies with nothing better to do. I parked in their parking lot because I was planning on shopping there after my haircut (they are both just a few doors down from each other). I came back to my car and saw they had scotch taped their business card on the driver's side of my car window. Classy. I didn't exactly know what it meant but then I noticed they hadn't done it to no anyone else's car. I called and asked and they said that parking lot was theirs and I could only park there if I was shopping there. I said I was planning on it but not now! That was so rude and they couldn't connect the dots on their brains that I was going to shop there. The lady said I was going to have to talk to the owner because she didn't do it. Way to pass the buck. I have been here many times and they are always snobs. I've given them enough chances and will not be shopping...

I love going to Margarets Consignments! It is such a beautifully displayed shop and feels a lot more like a boutique than a consignment shop! You never know what you will find at Margarets! From high-end designer pieces for a bargain, to purses, evening gowns, for all man kind jeans for 22 dollars(!) and awesome houseware! I went to the Frankfort Avenue Trolley Hop last month and they even have a great selection of christmas decoration! My husband was not bored as well since their men's selection is truely awesome! A brand new Dillards suit with tags attached for 48 dollars! You can't beat that! I also really do not understand the bad reviews here about tehir customer service! It's a shame that someone had a bad experience and rated Margaret's so low. The shop is amazing. If the buyers were not choosy about what they purchased from consigners, it wouldn't be such a lovely shop. I can go there for any type of clothing for any occasion and find something beautiful. My husband even loves it! I took my mother in law there as a treat while she was visiting from NY. She adores the place. Margaret herself is a lovely person. I overheard one of her employees say that it was a great place to work because Margaret was so good to her employees. Margaret promptly corrected her and said, "Don't call yourself an employee, we just all work together." Can't say enough good...
