Context, I rate coffee shops for its space and atmosphere for an individual more than anything, and Crescent Hill Coffee is a partner(?) / overflow of Eggs of Frankfort. So at around 10am on a Sunday, it becomes more of a restaurant than a coffee shop so the vibe definitely changes and it becomes louder and for bigger groups, opposed to a place where you can cozy down by yourself to study or read a book, or chat with a friend. That's why I only gave 4 stars. Definitely just a personal preference, it's a wise business plan especially in this economy, just not my type of coffee shop.
However, it is a great space with good coffee and delicious pastry. It's nice and cozy on slower times with lots of real plants and ample seating area (about 7 tables). This is the third lid that has done this in recent memory. For months before this, no problems at all. I feel like they switched lids and now they are terrible.
Everything else is fine. As I write this, they have a new woman who works there. She is making drinks by looking out of a book and it seems pretty evident management put her on the floor before she was trained. Obviously, she'll improve over time but I am going to avoid coming here for a month. Hopefully they run out of these lids and...
