First visit to the Brownsboro rd location and due to service we received, I have to leave a review. Clearly our server is annoyed with us and not trying to hide it. She is apparently ready to go home. We requested a table for two (seating is terrible regardless at this location), but she misheard apparently and thought we said three. We were sat at a four seat table and when she placed three waters, we told her that we only had two of us. Immediately, she is annoyed. No introducing herself. No silverware. Literally said, “Do you know what you want?” When my husband asked for no cilantro, she huffed and rolled her eyes. He didn’t see it, I did. What she doesn’t know, is my husband is in the restaurant industry and I used to be. We both are aware of the food industry and how service should be. I had to go get my silverware after asking the person who deliver my food and he forgot in less than one minute as he socialized at the front area. The lady at the bar was very nice that I got my silverware from. Therefore, it’s not everyone that works here that gives terrible service with an attitude. Just our luck to get the most put out rude one. Also, my husband’s water ran dry. He has a kidney disease and he drinks/needs tons of water due to his medication. She couldn’t be bothered to check back on us much less refill our water. She never returned to our table to even give us a check. She transferred our table and didn’t even notify us. What a poorly ran restaurant. Won’t be back, but I doubt they would care to lose a customer. I would tell you my servers name, but she never gave it as well as...
Read moreFirst time visiting today. The setup of this restaurant is pretty horrible. It's super busy. There's barely any order. We came in with a decent sized party, and considering the line, we thought it'd be easier to sit at a table and send one person up to order to ease up on the massive traffic jam. There were a few other tables still empty and lots outside, so it was busy, but there was still seating. However, a waitress came over and said the tables were reserved and we couldn't sit there. I don't really understand, bc I looked it up and there aren't reservations for this restaurant. I think the system was that everyone stand in line and then hope for a table when you get through, so we're weren't "supposed" to sit down yet. But I highly recommend you figure out a new system. If you're going to regulate where people sit, then hire some waitresses and fix the crazy line system. Have people wait to be seated and bring them some food. Otherwise, if people are going to eat there, let them sit down (especially when they have multiple young children who would do much better coloring at a table then standing in a very long line.) We simply left and went to Napa River for brunch. It was excellent and I highly recommend. Good food. Good prices. Good service. The system there makes sense. They even had a basket of toys for the kids to pick something out. It was very opposite of our experience here. I'm not really anxious to try again. It was loud, chaotic, and unimpressive and a bit rude. Meh. Maybe the food is good, but there are lots of places...
Read moreI came here today for the first time, and ordered takeout on their website. It was easy to do and I liked seeing pictures of everything and customization was somewhat easy, but I couldn't have changed anything much more than removing dairy. Checking out and picking a time to pick up were easy and I was given a confirmation text and email. I was also texted when my food was ready. It was ready a couple minutes earlier than initially predicted.
The food was all pretty good tasting. The portions seemed maybe a little small but at least my meal was pretty filling.
My poached eggs had hard yolks instead of runny. I didn't specify anything when I ordered so maybe that's how it's done, but idk. My friend ordered sunny side up eggs and the yolk was closer to medium or hard. Maybe take out orders are harder to get that right which is unfortunate but understandable if that's the case.
I ordered the chipotle poached and because I don't eat pork I got no chorizo, but there was no way for me to substitute it with chicken or something.
Also two of our meals were supposed to come with fresh fruit and we didn't get any and forgot to check.
I'm sure the experience of eating at the restaurant would have been better than trying to...
