Savor at River House — Attraction in Louisville

We held our daughter in laws Henna at Savor and it was fantastic. The space was versatile and accommodating. Outdoors, our guests enjoyed the balcony showcasing the amazing view of the Ohio River. Indoors, the main event room was elegant and spacious. The space was large enough to comfortably accommodate a dance floor area of 75 guests. Additionally, the elegance of the chandeliers made the space feel elevated yet easy to decorate with our decor for the event. We had a DJ for our event and Savor had their own audio system that the DJ could use to tie their sound into. This was phenomenal as it gave great quality of sound in the room. Savor also provided appetizers and hors d’oeuvres for our event. We were impressed not only by the quality of the food but the quality of service as well. In preparation for the event, we were very grateful for the dressing room that Savor had. It was spacious with great lighting and we were able to put our bride in here before the reveal. It also held our personal belongings that we brought with us for the event. The space was secure which made us feel comfortable. Lastly, Savor’s staff during the planning process were reliable and responsive. Savor provided tastings for the event and recommendations for different services they provided. The staff was very involved in the planning process and held many sessions with me. During the event, the Savor staff was readily available and attentive to our needs. Overall, I was extremely pleased with our event and Savor. I recommend this event space for any and all special events...

We got married at Savor in June 2022. It was an absolutely perfect day! James helped us to plan the wedding of our dreams and was an absolute joy to work with. He really is a gem. As was all of the other staff that assisted with our wedding, really A+ service. James was able to answer all of our questions in a timely manner and worked with vendors when necessary. By the end of it, he felt like a friend!

The food was fantastic as well--many people said it was the best wedding food they've had! The filet really was to die for.

Our ceremony was on the river and was beautiful. The cocktail hour and reception areas are beautiful as well, minimal decorations needed. Having our wedding in a space where the ceremony, reception, F&B, tables, chairs, linens, etc., is all handled by one vendor made for a truly easy wedding planning process.

If I could do it all again, I wouldn't...

We had our wedding reception at Savor in April 2023 and everything was absolutely perfect! The food was incredible, and the venue itself is gorgeous with a beautiful outdoor patio that overlooks the river. James was amazing to work with. He made sure every request was accommodated and ensured that all the details throughout the months of planning, and on the day of were seamless. On the day of our reception, James, Angie, and the entire staff were WONDERFUL!! Every single person we encountered at Savor was so helpful, kind, and professional. James made sure to check in with us and our parents throughout the evening to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day, we are so appreciative to the Savor team for making it an absolute dream. I cannot recommend this...
