My entree was delicious and beautifully made. However, my fiancés steak was over cooked the first time and we had to send it back. The second time was better but he is happy he didn’t order the larger portion. My main issue was our reservation. We had to have reservations to get in the parking lot, told the hostess the name the reservation was under and were seated yet somehow received a an email saying our reservation was canceled. Was that to avoid any negative reviews or because our opinion didn’t matter? We specified it was our anniversary on Open table yet, we received a table in the right corner of the sheltered patio opposed to the outback patio, or inside with the tablecloth and frameless candle. Other seating was available but we had the least desirable seats. They did nothing special for us at all so why bother asking on Open Table? I mentioned it to the co-host and he mentioned there had been “a little switch up” which I was completely unaware of. The host returned and inquired, so I mentioned we expected more, at least a candle... She then grabs a candle off the nearest table and handed it to me just to shut me up. Rude!! Ironically, to my left and right there were two other parties of color also tucked away in that wing of the restaurant while the rest of their customers had the better seats on that very beautiful day. Others seated after us received their cornbread before we did which also looked more appealing as well. After our meal we took walk by the pier to enjoy the view. We traveled from Cincinnati, Ohio and sad to say the difference in customer service or lack there of was highly noticeable in the South at this...

Made a reservation but got there about 15 minutes early. Had to wait for a really long time for someone to help us and make us sit at a table.
Then 10 minutes later someone gave us water and after that everyone kept walking around and serving others but no one showed up at our table to take the order. Waited for about 15-20 minutes and no one showed up so we stood up and were leaving, but no one even asked what was wrong, they just said ‘bye’.
Had a really bad experience here, hope the staff pays a bit more attention to...
Read moreWe could not get at River House so we reserved at Levee. We were seated by the windows overlooking the river. The atmosphere was quiet and inviting. Our server was attentive even though she had tables inside and outside. The menu was a full menu with specials. Not a lounge menu as I expected. High end seafood and steak but the best was the sides. Griddle crispy Mac and cheese was delicious as well as garden fresh sauteed squash. Oh did I mention the appetizer - brie in phylo with a maple bourbon glaze, almonds and crispy topping! Yummy. After dinner we were able to walk down to the river and enjoy the view. A...
