Update: Not only did they refuse to deliver medications because I have a medicaid insurance plan, but they also have not released the prescription so that another pharmacy can fill it. I asked them, and they were asked by the new pharmacy. Creating barriers for disabled people to access medication is dangerous and irresponsible.
Pharmacy refused to deliver my medications because I'm on Medicaid. When I asked what disabled people do to get their meds he suggested that I get a friend or family to drive me. First, not everyone has friends and family to do labor for them for free like running errands (Or provide child care, thx JD Vance). Apparently it never occurred to this pharmacist that disabled people need access to their medication even when friends and family and Uber aren't options. After some back and forth, it was explained that this was a Walgreens decision, not a Medicaid decision as it was originally explained to me. So I will be using a different pharmacy. One that is further away and more expensive. "Some people were misusing it" is not an acceptable reason to take access away from disabled people. God forbid someone gets a little extra help who...
Read moreI had an appointment at this location scheduled over a week ago to get a vaccination. The morning of the appointment they called me and told me that the appointment was cancelled, and that the pharmacy was closed that day. I called the next day to follow-up and waited in queue for 30 minutes. Then when it was my turn to speak to the pharmacist, they just hung up on me. I called back and spoke to someone at the cash register who informed me that the pharmacy was taking phone calls but they were just busy. I went back to waiting on hold for 15 more minutes before I gave up. You'll have better luck synthesizing your own vaccine/medication than getting anything from this Walgreens. I know times are tough, but you cant operate a medical facility like this and expect things to be ok. This is not a Wendy's. Provide medical goods and services as advertised or shut the doors. (PS. If you look, all the five star reviews for this location are...

I bought it and before getting in my car, I felt sick again asked then beggied to use rest room. (which is closed to public due to covid) but under an emergency a 50 year old woman or anyone for that matter should not be told No you cant walk down the street and find a restaurant to use theirs. So very cruel and rude. I hope she finds her self in this situation and is told the same. The man was willing to make exception for me and she told him No tell her to go down the street. Rude Rude Rude and very cold hearted as we have all been in this situation at times in life and know the feeling and desperation of the moment. shame on her and...
