Since I moved back to Lowell 12 years ago, I have been turning to Lowell Campus Computers and owner Julien. I work as an independent consultant from my home office so when I have a computer or internet problem there is no company specialist to help me. I found Julien's business in the yellow pages when I moved back and as a long time consultant I can say with authority that there is no one with greater expertise, skills, experience and know how than Julien. Genius is the right word. There has never been a problem that he could not solve for me. And whenever I had a serious computer system issue with a deadline looming, Julien has been extremely responsive and able to quickly diagnose and resolve the problem. Read moreWent in to get my macbook fixed. Took a while but could be blamed on COVID. They told me my computers motherboard was broken and it would be hundreds of dollars to replace. At this point I was fed up so I took the computer back and gave it to my dad who is pretty good with computers. He hooked the computer up to another monitor and it worked, proving that the motherboard was actually fine, and the issue can be solved for much less money. Read moreI don't like writing bad reviews, especially for local businesses, but I'm obligated to share my terrible experience. To keep it short, they're unresponsive once they have your business. They started the repair without giving a quote, even though I asked for one. Almost every time I called; the guy wasn't at the shop. My laptop was lazily repaired with just epoxy. There is residue on parts that I can't clean off without scratching. I would've rather waited longer for the parts to be ordered and have a quality repair. I'm grateful that my laptop is functioning again, but please do better. Don't make your customers chase you. ...
