Ardmore Farmers Market — Attraction in Lower Merion Township

I was actually going to Trader Joe's in that location for the first time and noticed this farmers market. As soon as I went in was a seafood place, and the very first thing I noticed was that it had a clean and fresh smell to it. I live in the Reading area, and we have 3 farmers markets here, but every seafood stand will have a slight odor of ammonia, which is a sign of bad seafood. This place in Ardmore was impressive. Many choices of fish that I usually don't see anywhere. I will be going out of my way to buy seafood from now on. The rotisserie chicken place is okay. They sell by the lbs.

My family went in to grab a quick bite before heading home. Decided to get the rotisserie chicken and some salad to go with. We got the coleslaw and their homemade potato salad. Chicken and potato salad was okay. But their coleslaw was really bad. My husband took one bite and said don’t want no more. I took a bit of to taste and it was not good at all. We ended up throwing it away. Wasted our money on that.

If we do ever return. It won’t be back to this place. So please make sure you check out all your options before making this place...

We love this place so much. However today I waited for the manager of the produce section to stop fooling around with his vape with another employee. After I waited patiently he continued to stand where I needed to be. I politely said excuse me and without even looking at me with the coldest answer he said "wait a minute" I said I waited long enough while you were fooling around with your vape pen, he then shut up and walked away. Never had an experience like that, usually smiling faces however I'm not the customer you want to treat that way. Consider correcting...
