Biking trails, horse tails and walking trails. Usually always hikers in the trails. It's really nice to walk along the creek. In the fall, it's gorgeous and crunchy to hikel and in the early summer there is so much forsythia that the air is perfumed with it's beautiful scent. You can ride your horse here and I have seen riders and their horses along the creek. It is a very long trail and I have never hiked the whole trail on one day, although I suppose you could. Very easy hike, no difficulty if you stay on the paved paths. Lots of pretty under the Bridge vistas. There's some fireplace ruins along the trail as well as an Amphitheater.

My mornings start off on the trail. I carve out about 90 minutes to walk covering about 6 miles. Depending on your level of fitness you can stay on the crushed gravel old railway path or venture off into trails at Lorimar Park. I’ll usually circle the Fix Chase Farm on the weekends. The cows are usually out to cheer on adventurers.

Hey, there's this really nice and quiet trail nearby. You should totally check it out, especially during fall!

As a former rail line that once carried commuters from Fox Chase to Newtown it has gentle slopes up and down. The scenery is spectacular. It parallels the Pennypack Creek through the woods of Huntingdon Valley just outside of Philadelphia. Two things are a treat for the eyes. Wildlife is plentiful. Dear run wild. Fox run wild. Skunks, raccoons, chipmunks, squirrels, and the the occasional snake. Evenings are best. Bicycles are permitted but on foot you can have a far...
