This place is always on point and one of the few that I would highly recommend. Area is well lit and decent enough parking spots, never really packed (good and bad thing) everytime I go. Blue point oysters are fresh and the sauce they use is delicious. I always order 1 plate, sometimes 2 on some occasions. Sushi/sashimi taste great with nice presentation and consistency. I never had an issue with returning an order here before, as opposed to other places where there may be a piece of plastic or even bone in some sushi places. Grilled squid is fantastic and definitely a must try if you like squid (avoid the fried however, not as great and feel like less quantity). The main selling point for me is the price point. It's extremely reasonable and high quality, something that I find rare in restaurants. Staff are also dressed properly and attentive (refilling water, asking if you want anything else, etc.). My only minor complaint is that service does come a little slow due to the fact thay they do takeout and desserts are frozen, not fresh, and can be a hit or miss (had a deep fried cheesecake which was still frozen in the middle but a creme brulee that tasted soft and melty), but these are suttle issues and do not deter much from this place. Would definitely recommend giving it a shot if you haven't. Quality, consistency, and service stand out and for me, that's a sign of a great business!

Had reservations for 2 around at 6 on a Sunday. Wasn't busy at all in the restaurant. About half full the entire time we were there. We ordered the Duck roll app to start and also 4 rolls for dinner. For some reason they gave us our entree before the app. The eel avocado roll was kinda sad. The piece of eel is so tiny you can't even see it. Check the pictures it's 95% avocado. The duck roll was the same story. The piece of duck was so tiny, it was 95% lettuce. The Ichiban roll was better, plenty of fish. Flavor was great. One of the specials was salmon roll and garlic and that was also good. Staff seemed eager to rush us out even though the restaurant was half empty.

First time: there and I was very happy with my experience. The sushi was fresh and the service was great. I went at 5:30 on a Saturday and by the end of our meal it started getting real busy in there. I will be going back. Many other times: Been going here consistently for a long time now. They always have a solid product and I love it. One thing they need to work on is getting the cups cleaner. I had to ask for another tea because there was lips stick on it. Not a good look. The sushi is still very fresh. The prices also can't be beat.

Loved it here. Very good sushi and rolls. Even in the rolls fish pieces are decent sized. The staff is very accommodating, the atmosphere is nice, and the location is convenient. We'll definitely be back and order from them. Oh, and the desserts are good too.

Update: went there again with the whole family to celebrate Mother's Day. While the place was packed and we had to wait a bit (even though we had a reservation for a particular time) they handled it well - in a very friendly and polite way and even gave us a bit of ice cream on the house, which was unnecessary but a nice gesture. We left happy and will keep using this place for our sushi needs.

Also, this place is BYOB, so if you want a beer with your sushi - make sure to bring it with you.

06/2024 Google asked to update the review so... Still a great place. Still our "to go" place for take out orders. Still great taste and quality. Keep up the good job!

03/2025 Google asked to update again. This time we dined in. The food was great as always. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Just an important note - DO NOT TRUST GOOGLE when it says that this place is not busy (to know, that graph that shows up for some places). The place IS very popular and busy even if Google says otherwise. We waited for half an hour to get a table, but they took our order while we were waiting, so the food came out shortly after we were seated. I guess my advice is to make a...

Ever since my family first ate at Sushiman on Christmas Day 2016 (such is the Jewish Christmas tradition; go to the movies and have Chinese food or sushi--in our case, we usually go for sushi), this is the place where we most often eat for family birthdays, Mother's Day/Father's Day, and other occasions. Service is friendly and worth the wait because the restaurant tends to fill up especially on weekends. My favorites are the New York roll (salmon and apple), the Shrimp Mango roll, the Sweet Potato Tempura roll, and the Hawaiian roll. It took a bit of time for them to get things running efficiently when they first opened; being that on one of our first visits, a new Hibachi chef started on a busy Saturday evening and was still getting acclimated, but we gave Sushiman the benefit of the doubt and will keep eating there as long as they are on...
