Frederic Loraschi Chocolate — Attraction in Lower Paxton Township

Update: I can't believe I drive 25 minutes to get croissants --- but I DO!!! Worth every drop of gasoline hahaha. I can't say enough good things about the quality of this pastry. France has come to central PA. 💗💗💗💗💗

We saw Frederic Loraschi featured on a PCN program last year and decided we'd give his chocolates as Christmas gifts this year. We never made it to his store and so ordered sight unseen... or untasted? :-) We were NOT disappointed. We ordered 6 of the Gourmet Chocolate Gift Boxes, kept one for ourselves and gave away the other 5. What a stunnng gift- from the tissue paper it comes wrapped in, the enclosures, to the beautiful gem-like chocolates inside----we were all wowed by this set of 16 treasures! Amazing chocolate shop! Not only is the chocolate high quality and well priced, but the experience of visiting was wonderful. My husband and I decided to check it out on a whim and were greeted by the (award winning) chef who gave us a little tour of all the chocolates, candies, and French baked goods (macarons and a specialty pastry on Saturdays). We also got to sample a lovely lavender chocolate. I normally don't like anything floral but it was one of the best chocolates I've ever had.

My sister knows how much I love Loraschi chocolates, so she gifted me with a box of them last week for my birthday. What words can I use to convey the exquisite flavors, the beauty, the elegance, and the chocolate? Each morsel is a treat to be savored. One cannot mindlessly eat them. One must nibble and immerse the senses in the subtle, delightful marriages of chocolate with citrus, or lavender honey or almond praline. They are magnificent! Unparalleled.
