It's a shame that an otherwise great company to support, purchase from, and from what I hear, work for as well, is being so misrepresented by particular employees.. I travel for work, but I attempt to shop at ALDI as exclusively as I can. I came to this location, and upon entering, visited the restroom before I started my grocery shopping for the week. As I went in I spotted the maintenance man headed toward the restrooms. Before I'm able to even get into the stall, he begins loudly banging on the entrance to the restroom and asking if it's occupied. He CLEARLY saw me enter moments prior. I told him I'd be out shortly, and he then moves on to knocking on the women's. He gets no answer, and it's apparent that it is not in use. Instead of starting on the empty one, he then immediately goes back to banging ( louder now ) on my door, and demanding he enter. Seeing that there's an obvious problem taking form, I then wash my hands and open the door and say in a very joking way, " is this you telling me that finishing my trip to the restroom isn't in the cards for me today? " To which he replied "yep", and stood in the doorway till I left. I'm not sure why this man was so concerned with my attempt at using the facilities, but it was such a brazenly rude confrontation that I no longer felt the need to patron the business. It wasn't worth speaking to a manager over, but I felt an amount of contention that...
Read moreI never have a problem to shopping in Aldi but today the cashier named Kimberly mean with me for no reason! I went back to the store to return something and she gave me the money back in Cash. Before I left the store, I noticed that the twenty bill was torn, in particular I know that many people do not care, but I do not like having a torn bill.So I came back to ask her to change it for me, please. But she had a bad attitude saying that she couldn't open her box and that if I wanted to I would have to wait for someone else to pay and from there she would give me another one. Until here everything was fine and I decided to wait in line but, when it was my turn for her to change my torn bill. She ripped it out of my hand! and she started with her bad attitude telling me that she doesn't see the problem that I have to change my torn bill and all her bad attitude started there.Honestly, I have also worked for customer service and it has never bothered me to change a torn bill to a customer, I don't know what the problem with this cashier was! I hope your customer service improves and above all that you talk to this cashier about her...
Read moreLOVE this place, use to go to the one by Walmart but it was becoming run down like the Walmart is. So glad this one is closer and they carry Vegan and gluten free lines. So many things are better than mainstream food stores with the lower price. Some of my weekly staples are Italian wheat and white sandwich bread (price is lower and the taste is awesome), plum tomatos are so cheap and fresh, I mean you get a pound (5-7 tomato’s) for $1.19!!! I think the last time I got them at “G” it was like $1.99 on sale. Almond milk, so many vegan items, snacks, baking supplies, I could go on and on. When you have 10 people to feed any savings is helpful. I use my own bags and for the person that complained about the quarter for the carts first off, less employees that are suppose to be collecting them (keep prices down), second they won’t hit your car because of them being left by lazy people or the cart corrals getting to full, and lastly you get the quarter back and if you have a little quarter keeper on your keychain you’ll always have one(I bought mine off of Etsy for $1.50). Again I LOVE this store, so happy...
