My first time coming here was some time ago, nearly a year ago I believe. The store was a lot smaller but offered good prices and a wide selection. Recently I came back to this place, and it had gotten a lot bigger since I went there. The games however, costed more than market value. Mario Kart Double Dash on average according to pricecharting costs $70.50 CIB, but the price at the store was $89.99. Not all the stuff is priced past market value, but I looked at Metroid Prime and saw that it costed $69.99⦠(It wasnāt the Kmart version either, it was just a normal copy of Metroid Prime) that couldāve been me misreading it, it couldāve been $39.99 but even then itās higher than market value which is $24.99. Super Mario 64 was listed for $59.99 but itās market value is $37.83 you get the point. Itās not a bad store, the games are just a tad bit past market value, but that seems to be the case with most game stores in Lubbock. Iād still love to go back one day, but I probably wouldnāt buy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreProbably one of the rudest small businesses Iāve ever been to. Today was our first time going to check out the store for a guitar for a PS2 & the lady who was running the counter was very abrasive. She 1)was being very rude over the phone to a vendor she was having service issues with which I can understand because it is difficult trying to get vendors to respond promptly but she didnāt greet us or even look up to acknowledge us when we walked in. 2)when we approached the counter after her call to ask her a question about a guitar she just stared at me till I proceeded to ask my question & then was very short with her response & walked away after. Personally I have been to other local shops & recommend them as well as they have way better prices & are always more than friendly! I recommend 806 games & Ralphās records for more reasonable prices & for a much kinder & acknowledging customer...
