Lake Park Fitness Trail — Attraction in Lutz

This park is great, if you know its secrets. It has multiple multi use trails for jogging, off-road biking (albeit flat but wide and winding) and even horseback. The park connects to a larger trail system and other parks with football, basketball and other amenities. The multiple ponds and a lake make for wonderful views and animal watching. There is also a BMX course, RC car track, archery (well done with great amenities for a county park and plenty of tables, grills, volleyball nets and a playground. They offer canoe rentals but we love bringing our kayaks and just circling the larger lake. The multi use trails also have a few fitness items that leverage your body weight and calisthenics. I'm certain I'm missing things but a lot of people I've told about his park were surprised to hear everything it offers. Amazing place! A great park right next to the lake - the atmosphere is truly magical. You can go kayaking, ride the BMX track, and enjoy the beautiful nature all around. There are tall trees, rabbits running around, and even some dangerous snakes - wild, but part of the experience.

What really surprised me were the two awesome camping spots - quiet, scenic, and for some reason, barely anyone uses them. It feels like a hidden gem. The whole area is a treat for the eyes and brought me so much joy. Absolutely loved it here and will definitely...
