Very disappointed with this place. I wasn't sure to write for a while but I really don’t want another person have the same experience as me. First time I went to this place to get my hair cut and half balayage, it ended up HORRIBLE !! She totally get me wrong with cutting style and color. I can understand 1 thing to become wrong but I really don't understand how can she make wrong all the way even I have shown pictures. First of all, when she done with my hair I didnt like it because it came out dark which is not what I want. was not even close and then She tried to fix it and glazed it second time. Came out a mess !! she left me “unknown creation color” Of course I did not like it, but all she has to tell me that if I want to get my hair to be blond I was needing to see her at least 2 more times. And each time suppose to pay almost $200. So this is something that customer needs to be inform before the process not after when it’s too late.
After I went home I called them and tell them how I am upset with my hair and needs to be fix urgently. Then they gave me another appt with another person. She was nice but she wasn’t even want to touch my hair from the beginning. I went to hair salon 1 day before appt just to show her my hair and tried to explain how I want to my hair. And all she has to tell me that she has another customers that day on my appt day and she can not do anything long on my hair which means she can only glaze it. Fine !! But it is very unprofessional. If somebody requesting recover it has to be book for proper time and get it done accordingly. And I did not even talk about my cutting style yet. I had long hair before I go there and I have shown her round cutting style in the back, and all I got a straight cut in the back with little shape in the front. First, They defend themselves as I had dark hair on my first visit and thats why they could not go far in the first day. Which is totally lie!!. I had half highlighted hair but 1 year old. All I want to get refresh on my hair since I already have highlight. And after I went my second time they came up with that she didn’t want to ruin my hair in the beginning because I had highlight. Very frustrating !! Eventual, I have paid $260, plus 3 days visiting and they left my hair big mess. It was a disaster. I had more then 3 colors on my hair. Never be back and Do not...
Read moreI had been a regular client at this salon for about a year, sticking with the same stylist throughout. She was relatively new to the profession, with maybe one year of experience, but she effectively promoted her products and services. One of her specialty services was a curly cut, which I was interested in trying. Being open to new things and supporting emerging talent, I continued to book appointments with her and followed her recommendations.
Over time, my satisfaction with the results was hit or miss. At times, I felt pleased with the outcome, as it aligned with my expectations. However, there were instances where the haircut was uneven, or the style lacked longevity, losing its shape sooner than anticipated. Despite these inconsistencies, I continued to return, encouraged by the salon’s emphasis on advanced bookings and the hope of experiencing more consistent results.
The turning point came when my stylist had to cancel and couldn’t fit me into her schedule. This led me to explore other options. Through this experience, I realized a few things: Complacency: I had become too comfortable with the same salon, overlooking potential alternatives. Overpayment: I was paying premium prices that continued to increase without consistently receiving the quality of service that matched the cost. Inconsistent Service: The variability in the quality of styling and treatment from my stylist was evident. Persistent Booking Pressure: I felt continually pressured to book future appointments, both through the salon’s advanced booking process and direct messages from the stylist. While I understand and appreciate the hustle, this constant push became overwhelming and detracted from the overall experience.
Reflecting on my time at this salon, I’ve learned what I don’t want in a salon and stylist. While the salon had some nice amenities, like upgraded facilities and massage chairs, these didn’t make up for the lack of consistent, quality hair care. Paying over half a grand for services and recommended products, plus a tip, without getting the results I wanted, made me realize it was time to find a new salon....
Read moreFirst and foremost this place is PRICEY, but I knew that going into this. I was told we could keep the price at about 200 give or take and they delivered. With that, I expected more from the results. Basically I got highlights put in over my grown in hair which was a brownish shade at the bottom. The highlights came out way too gold compared to the bottom of hair. When I first walked out of the salon I thought I loved it and I was so happy. Maybe it was the lighting, I’m not sure but I felt really confused as the days went by. I thought we had a plan but I guess I wasn’t prepared for the results and time it would take. I showed the stylist pictures of what I DIDNT want and walked out with just that. My hair is naturally curly so the highlights look different when my hair is straight. So the highlights just looked chunky after I washed my hair. Also the blowout was not great at all, but I was told it comes with a cut so I didn’t care too much. 5 days after getting my hair done I ended up going to another salon and getting what I wanted, but at the expense of dropping another $120 dollars. I’m not going to bash this place because it’s not like they didn’t try but my pockets really hurt and I’m kinda just sad about how it played out.
If you want to know whether you should go there or not, you should base it off the price, what you want, and how much time you’re willing to wait to get your results. Emphasis on the MONEY because I swear I’ve never paid so much money for JUST full highlights and I don’t think I ever will again. Also take into consideration your hair texture and strength. I thought my hair couldn’t handle more but I got it fixed by getting a light color done on my whole head and my hair came out healthy. Before you do anything just analyze your hairs condition, where you want it, how it’s going to get there, the person who is going to get it there, and the price. I know these people are talented at what they do, just not the...
