Stop & Shop — Local services in Lyndhurst

My first time here was the best experience ever ! I've lived in Lyndhurst for a year now and it's definitely better than Shoprite from the local town, The parking is great I needed a few things for my Thanksgiving dinner with the family. Everything was so organized and accessible The minute you walked in you found specials and everything you needed for thanksgiving was at hand ,like they know what's a thanksgiving favorite and made everything organized, accessible and beautiful, even have gifts available close by like flowers for those who aren't hosting , I also noticed they make everything is easier for those who need to shop for WIC necessities items ,all things that qualify are properly labeled and if a staff member sees you struggling to find an item they are more than willing to help , I even noticed a supervisor or manager constantly walking around the supermarket making sure everything is good and okay for the customers . Cashiers are very patient and friendly , they treat you like you made their night , I even forgot my bags they noticed I really needed it cause I was shopping alone and I'm 7 m pregnant, staff gave complimentary bags for becoming loyal customers . I have gone different times now and everything ,everyone and every time is the best experience ever . Thank you Stop and shop...

Went to stop and shop yesterday around 9a expecting to pick up some fresh fruit and vegetable and a couple other items that were in the ad only to find out all the vegetables were rotten fruit also was rotten nothing in the ad was on the shelf and some workers standing around talking instead of doing a quality check on all the rotten fruits and vegetables that are in the ad and on display but clearly needed to be cleared make my way to the meat department had the same issue nothing was available bunch of empty shelves and one worker just kneeling down working preventing me from shopping not one word to ask me if I needed help or can I offer you help with something your looking for terrible customer service in this place on top of nothing being on shelves you get better quality just shopping directly from the warehouse never will waste my time coming into this store just to see flies making a home were all the fresh fruit and vegetables should be poor up keep on this store and the service was just as bad how can the store look like that when it was the beginning of the week Monday ?! and it was early in the morning came back later hoping it was just too early but had the same issues so I won’t waste my time nor money...

Whatever happened to customer service? After working all day at my own job I go to the grocery store to be waited on by a young boy, a man would never act that way, who after ringing me up, sat down showing me his back and was chatting with the girl on the next register and completely ignored me. No help no nothing, I complained to the manager who did nothing and then the treatment from the cashier was worse he was laughing at me and joking about me with the girl cashier like they knew there was nothing that was going to be done to either of them. Is this what the store allows? I have to work at my own job, then go shopping where i am expected to do their job as well ,then have the displeasure of being mocked and so disrespectfully treated by store employees? I am horrified that no one said anything to these 2 cashiers. But the manager and others in courtesy were watching, then they even had a customer chiming in. I have never been so mistreated anywhere. I'm waiting for a call from corporate. They should be embarassed...
