Cermak Woods — Attraction in Lyons Township

Hot days are well enjoyed in the water! I have small kids so I love that it's so safe for them to swim here.....no depth. The highest any water goes is to 2.5 ft. So dont go here expecting a big pool to swim in, this is more for wading and relaxing. Small lazy River, splash zone, and slide. I visited the aquatics center with my family and the place is perfect for kids and toddlers. Lots of attractions for all ages to enjoy. I do suggest getting there early to get some lawn chairs. The only thing that I dislike about this waterpark would be the cleanliness of the water. The best thing about Cermak Woods is that it's the location of Cermak Pool a small but significant Water Park for all ages. It has sprinklers, slides & a Lazy River to float down on a provided inner tube. It's a Cook County Forrest Preserve, so Cook County Residents pay a smaller entry fee than others, but it's open to all from Memorial Day through mid-September, annually.
