We live in Wisconsin 200 miles away but my father in law lived in the area his whole life up until 5 years ago we had to move him up here...his friends and other family are all still down there. When he passed his wishes were to get his friends some good pizza and have a few beers. He has been a patron here and loved their pizza so we tried to do exactly that...we booked the patio knowing we would have 50+ people coming for celebration of life. We called a Danielle and one other lady 2 months out and discussed what they had for food and set up. We told them we would call the final few weeks for a more accurate head count. Day of celebration we showed up and literally were told they had no clue what we wanted and had booked a kids birthday party outside on the patio. We were now shoved in a back room with maybe 25 seats. We have 50+ adults and need room to eat. We were given menus and told to order like regular customers!! She claimed she didn't have our contact information and had no communication about anything! We have call records that show otherwise! We brought a cake from our local bakery, they remembered somehow that we ordered family serving of salad and that was ready and we ordered 5 family size pizzas to start. The waitress informed us she would just add stuff when she saw we needed it. She was working 2 parties..we rarely saw her. 45 minutes we waited for the refill pizzas! No food was available in between pizza refill so I cut the cake to appease some people! Half of Dad's friends had to sit in the bar on the other side of the building from this room...we were split up. People missed the speeches and mingling amongst one another because there was no room! Money was not the issue for why we had it at a place like this...this was our father's last wishes. You made our day from start to finish total chaos. Lies of communication, giving the area we needed away to a kids birthday, lack of attention to our guests. We had veterans and elderly leaning up against walls. 9 pizzas (6 one topping and 3 deluxe)a pan of Italian salad and 5- 2 liters without grituity was 420.00!! Still can't figure the math out because menu prices show way less than what it seems we were charged. She literally handed us a guest bill with no breakdown just 420.00 circled on it. Absolutely will never have a good thing to say about what we experienced on a day that was already hard enough. Fail...you should be ashamed but from the customer service we received I...
Read moreMy husband and I were here on Saturday, July 23rd. We thought everything went well until the following day when we learned that the bartender gave my husband back the wrong debit card. I didn't think too much of it until we tried to retrieve his debit card. Each time we called the ladies who answered the phone from Waterworks were very rude and didn't give us a direct answer to whether or not they had his debit card. Luckily the gentlemen whose card we had contacted us through mutual friends and we were able to met up with him to returned his card. Unfortunately, he did not have my husbands debit card and so we had to go back to Waterworks to retrieve it. That's when the nightmare began!! The lady (Mar, short for Mary or something like that) was very rude. First, she did not acknowledge our presence whatsoever, then when I got her attention she told me that she was very busy, in a rude tone, and asked if we could come back later or wait until she had time. Really!!! How long does it take to give me a card? We weren't there to purchase anything. However, I agreed to wait since we were there and who wouldn't want there debit card back. As we waited for twenty minutes or so watching her ask other customers if they wanted anything else or another pitcher of beer. Not one customer was flagging her down needing assistance at that time. She was intentionally ignoring us! Really!!! Are we invisible???? I then went around asking other people who, we thought, worked there for assistance. Not until we finally got someone else to help us did this Mar lady turn around to assist us. She quickly open up the register and brought out not only our debit card but two others as well and said "Hurry up! Which one is it? Hurry up, Hurry up!" as she huff and puffed. I identified my husband's card and quickly left. Mar didn't even ask us for identification. I will never step foot into this place again. Service is unacceptable and very sad. So frustrating! Save yourself time and frustration...
Read moreFirst time ordering. We used their website to see prices. We place our order & then was shocked to hear it was a $54 order. What the heck!? I mean seriously update your website. It take a few minutes. I use to run & maintenance my own website, so I know you can do it in 5 minutes. That alone soured our first thoughts. We order the fries. What a HUGE disappointment & NOT WORTH $. I seriously could have bought a frozen bag of oven fries, for what received. I could have seaoned it better, myself. It was just fried & not even salted & the portion was much smaller then the container it came in. So it was a dispointing shock once we opened the box. My pizza was a mushroom and pepperoni. It was okay. I personally dislike when they place topping under the chesse because the mushrooms don't have that cooked taste I like (too wet for my liking). The cheese and pepperoni was under cooked (see photo) you can tell that it is just wet and not crispy. The pizza sauce was great! The crust was lack luster & just like every other dry thin crust, to me it felt like pre-made dough. Blah. The rest of the family enjoyed a meat lover. My kids disliked the crust. My husband loved it. They too loved the sauce (5 star). Over all we felt dispointed because of the bait and switch of the website prices & the fries were just gross & a waste of money. It's pretty bad when the kids won't eat the fries and only have one slice of pizza. I am giving 4 stars because I don't think it's fair if I post lower. This place just isn't what we like, & that is okay. We have our favorites places that are more for their value & they make fries in house. Awesome pizza sauce though!! I personally wouldn't go back. My husband might he loved the crunch of the crust.
Update next morning: Both my husband and I are sick to our stomachs. The kids who didn't have but one slice, are fine. It could be a horrible...
