My first time attending Crystal Sky Banquet Hall last night. Lisa and Chuck Martin had their 15 year Anniversary there. Crystal Sky has some of the nicest wait staff and the manager was so kind. We arrived there and went into the wrong venue hall where a wedding reception was about to take place. He escorted us over to the right area and held the door open for all of us to enter inside. The venue hall Lisa and Chuck had was so spacious very elegant. The theme was red and white. We all had enough room to move around without bumping into each other. There was a bar, DJ, photographer going around. Also an area where you could take personal photos if you wanted. The wait staff was absolutely superb very professional and friendly. The type of service you definitely want for an event. I have attended various banquet halls before the staff wasn't anything like the Crystal Sky staff. The food was fantastic liked that a lot. Big plus here they allow you to use carry out containers to take your food home if you don't finish it all. I have never had that offered at other venue halls it's against the policy of the facility. The way the venues are in separate locations with no way of interfering with anyone else having an event. I highly recommend Crystal Sky for any type of event you want to have. Last but not least they have plenty of parking available at the banquet facility. Please check out Crystal Sky Banquet Hall you will be happy 😊...
Read moreI've been to quite a few banquets for wedding occasions and this has yet been the first one I've attended with the worst service! Was thinking of having my future wedding here and thank god I seen it's true colors! Upon arriving everything was going great until the bar had opened. Tia had the nastiest attitude I have ever encountered from a bartender in my life. She made me and my significant other our drinks. I encouraged my s/o to tip her (this is just the type of person I am. Always tip!) He wasn't going to, but I insisted him on tipping her since I didn't have cash on hand. And again later on he tipped her again. After about the 5th time I went up there she had a nasty attitude. To the point where she didn't even hand me my drink. She sat it down on the counter very angerly and slid it towards me. I thought maybe it was just me. The next time I went up there she doesn't hand me my drink but sits it a distance from me and just walks away to take the next guest. Not one smile out of her until the end of the night when I asked for a drink and she stated we're closed. That was the only time I had seen a smirk on her face since the 1st and 2nd time I ordered a drink. Just to make sure it wasn't just me thinking she had a problem with I asked a few other of the bridesmaids (I was a bridesmaid) and they told me they too were receiving the same treatment. If you're looking for over the top customer service this isnt the...
Read moreAside from the really awkward dance floor arrangement where you can see the ceremony only if you happen to pick the correct half of the room where everything is going on, they need to figure out how to provide better customer service to their guests. I asked one of the waitresses where they had changing tables and she said they don't have any. I asked how people usually change their babies and she said they change them at their seats or on the stage. I do not see how it is appropriate to change her at the table where others are eating, exhibit my childs private parts and disrupt others' eating experiences with smells that might come along with changing a baby.
I then figured I'd ask someone else, perhaps she was in a bad mood. I asked the bartender where I can change my baby, and if they had changing stations anywhere and with a smirk on his face he said "my house". Followed by "you can try upstairs." I went to what resulted in being the bridal room, ended up interrupting her while changing only to find that there weren't any there either and had to move her things to change my baby on the couch.
Are baby changing tables really that expensive? I don't think this should even be an issue considering they host plenty of "family " events year round. They aren't that hard to even make and those comments are certainly not necessary. Very...
