I usually don’t have very high expectations for hotels, but there’s one thing I really care about—cleanliness. As soon as I arrived, the first thing I did was lift up the bed to check its condition. The bottom was covered with a plastic waterproof cover, which made me feel reassured that it’s not an environment where bugs could thrive. And yes, it was waterproof! The room itself was very clean, and there were absolutely no bugs. They said it was a newly built place, and that turned out to be true. It had a TV, microwave, and refrigerator. There were also plenty of outlets, so I didn’t even need to use the power strip I had brought with me. I also liked that there was a gas station within walking distance—it was convenient to grab milk or light snacks when needed. I stayed for two nights and it was very comfortable. The windows were large, and so were the curtains. I could open them up for light or close them for privacy. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay—thank you! My room was 19, by the way!

Folks, this is the last great value for lodging anywhere near Chicago! Booked online, requested nonsmoking double bed, check in was seamless, the room and bathroom and bedding was all very clean! The room came with a television with lots of cable channels, and the motel is literally steps away from a fully stocked convenience store with fresh food. Come stay here and support this wonderful family-owned operation before it gets purchased by some greedy hedge fund and flipped into an unaffordable option. I travel for work and stay in corporate hotel brands on the company dime, but for my own money this was well worth it and I'll be staying here again in the future!

This motel was not bad at all, it actually surprised me how nice it was. Nice room space, the bathroom was spacious as well, there was an area to hang your stuff, microwave, A/C, Tv and mini fridge. If I were to nitpick I would say the beds looked a little outdated especially the sheets and comforter they decided to use but that’s small stuff. The bed was actually comfortable to me and a decent size so that made up for it a bit. The only thing(s) that stopped me from giving this place 5 stars is the small parking lot, the fact that you have to pay to extend your stay (even a few hours) and no iron or ironing board(at least I didn’t see one in my room). I would say that the tvs could be more updated because the quality wasn’t the greatest but it beats nothing. Overall, this is a great affordable motel option if you need a quick spot to stay in Chicago. It’s not that far from Midway or downtown and the rooms are clean and spacious in my opinion. so, I think it’s very worth it. I already saved this spot on my maps and anytime I go to Chicago I definitely will come back...
