Ehlert Park — Attraction in Lyons Township

Elhert Park in the outskirts of Brookfield, il is a great place to take walks, ride a bike, have picnics with family, play sports, and much much more! There is a Skatepark, baseball fields, bathrooms, pavilions, a jungle gym for children and much more to explore when at this park! It is a great place to go with family or just by yourself for a walk in a local park. There is a big air plain from the US Army in the park as well which is a nice little touch. It has many various parking areas so you never have to worry about parking!...

We always host our family picnics here because it's a good space with everything you can ask for. There is a large pavilion with plenty of picnic tables and electrical outlets, a nice sized playground, a splash pad, plenty of grassy fields to play, a baseball diamond, basketball and tennis courts, soccer fields with goals, skate board ramps, plenty of parking, and most importantly...indoor bathrooms (no porta-potties) with running water and soap...yay!!!!! One great neighborhood park in nearby suburb of McCook. Was invited to a celebration picnic for niece who graduated Med. school. Park was fantastic with manicured fields for sport, water sprinklers for play, clean paths for walking & biking, several Pavilions for comfort & protected eating areas, but the neatest was the A-4 battle-proven plane on site to remind all that our freedom & liberty were paid for by our patriotic youth.
