Taco Stop — Restaurant in Lyons Township

The Taco Stop in Brookfield Illinois is very conveniently located on the north side of Ogden Avenue. Parking is available on the side street just east of it between the Taco Shop and the Colony Motel.

The man who served as very friendly and helpful.

I had just had breakfast, so I did not buy food – but the tacos seemed like a terrific deal for what I’m sure it is a very excellent meal.

I never buy American sodas at a Mexican restaurant, when you can get much tastier products street from Mexico.

My apple soda totally hit the spot.

Really interesting ethnic food is more available in Brookfield now than when I grew up here 60 years ago. But I bet you can’t find Mexican food this reasonably priced anywhere else...

Best Mexican breakfast I've had in a long time! Juevos Rancheros, plus get a chicken tamale and mix it in with the egg yolk and ranchero sauce. There is no beer or alcohol here, but the food is so good, who cares! The beans and rice are perfect as well, and you get generous amounts of fresh, hot tortillas on the side. We tried this place for the first time tonight after a friend suggested it to us. The food was AMAZING! We ordered a burrito dinner and taco dinner along with chips and guac to go. The food was made quickly and the waitress was very nice! I got home and devoured the burrito!
