Fine Thai — Restaurant in Lyons Township

Some of the best Thai food I have had in awhile. When I am sick, I want some spicy Thai herbs to knock out a virus and this restaurant delivered. Got Covid and all I craved was Thai food. It was soothing, comforting and made me feel better. Staff were so pleasant to work with on the phone and very accommodating. Driver respected my no contact delivery request. The Tom Khar soup was phenomenal - creamy, delicious and all the right spices. Green curry was soothing and smooth. Food was clean and fresh. It was so good I ordered from here 3 times in 1 week while I was sick because that is all I wanted. My sister is now hooked on this place because when she got sick I ordered her what I had and it made her feel better as well. I placed an order through their app for delivery at 6:31pm. One hour passed and nothing. I called fine Thai to find out the status of the order, after I spoke to a lady that had no idea what was going one she stated “my manager said we’re reallly busy if you can please come pick up your order”, when I asked to speak with the manager, this woman told me she was very busy and couldn’t help me at all. I was surprise of what I just encounter. Wow. After I asked for a refund I was referred to the app because the restaurant refused to anything about it. I called the app right away and yes i got my money back, but now I have to to wait 3-5 business days to get my refund. Unbelievable, terrible customer service. No apologies what so ever. Never again i will order nor recommend...

This is a lovely find for those with an adventurous palette (assuming Thai food is not what you were raised on)

It is a bit on the pricier side but very worth it!

The dishes tasted fresh, crisp, and light

They did not have an overly heavy oil texture that similar places sometimes have in their dishes

The warm dishes are especially satisfying to have on a cold winter day (as it was when I visited)

The lady who served us was friendly and did not seem to mind us lingering (we were also the only customers the whole time, but still, it was nice of her)

Overall atmosphere is cozy and quaint (5 tables total that each seat 4 people), with notes of cultural music playing in the background

I would especially recommend the Taro pearls in coconut cream if...
