Lizzie Selle Studio/ West End Gallery — Attraction in Lyons Township

We can't say enough good things about Lizzie, her artwork, her support for other artists and her ability to bring all those things together! We have hesitated for (too many) years to buy art for our home, being too intimidated and indecisive about how to even go about it. I came across Lizzie on IG and then we dropped into one of her open houses. We were honestly surprised how instantly we fell in love with a few of her pieces, and our normally indecisive selves walked out with five of her pieces. Lizzie then offered to come to our house to see the space and return with some other options. Well...we can now officially say we are collectors! She also brought some awesome pieces by Heidi Becker, who is also amazing and whose work we had been admiring for years. Lizzie just happened to bring the two pieces that felt so perfectly at home in our home! Every day, we pass by the new additions to our house and comment on how happy we are to have all of them. We are thankful to Lizzie for helping make it happen and for giving us a way to connect to and support artists in our community!

Lizzie is an absolute dream to work with. Her artwork is beautiful but I think what we loved so much was the story behind each piece. We wanted some pieces that added color to our home but were still modern and timeless. When we entered her studio for the first time, we fell in love with the gallery wall concept. She came to our house and brought some other pieces for consideration that aligned with our vibe which was so thoughtful and we ended up purchasing more of her artwork for our house. I reached out to Lizzie with a very special request. I wanted artwork to celebrate my son's first birthday and our transition into a family of three. But I didn't want just any artwork -- I wanted pieces with meaning, depth, and joy. Lizzie was so thrilled about the idea.
