I've been here with my dog a few times over the past few years. It's a good playground for dogs with plenty of room to run and play. For dogs that enjoy water, there's a shallow stream that runs down the middle of the park. There's some agility equipment here, as well. My dog is getting older, so I probably won't bring her back after our last experience. As we were leaving, an aggressive dog approached my dog and ended up biting her. The park rules indicate that dogs behaving aggressively should leave, but the person and their dog were still there when I left. Also, there are bags available to clean up dog waste, but it seems that there are several that can't be bothered. This would be a much more pleasant place to visit if everyone would...
Read moreI'm usually the only black guy at this park. I have the smallest pit bull you probably have ever seen. Today I went in and everyone in the park avoided me and my dog. On the large dog side, you will find owners that bring their dog and proceed to nap in a bench. This means that they not only aren't picking up their dog's waste but they also are not aware if their dog gets in a scuffle or is causing problems. You also have the owners who bring dogs who have no business being in the park. Then there are the owners who keep their dog on a leash inside the park area which, of course, is incredibly stupid. Are you seeing a trend? Finally, the small dog area has very little shade and no access to water. We live two blocks away and...
