Courthouse Park — Attraction in Madera

If you're in Madera you should check this place out. They have a 911 memorial as well as several other memorials all on a beautiful standing wall. They also have many things you can view in the museum there inside the court house. It has been a really long time but under the court house use to be Madera Jail until they built the new DOC on Rd 28. There is also a park attached to the old court house. In 2024, a new playground was built in this park for the 1st time. My 2 kiddos love it. They're 10 & 9 years old. It's right next to the museum building. Courthouse Park is a spacious park with lots of history. There are monuments to the fallen heros of past wars, Law Enforcement and other events. Then you have the museum itself which is full of interesting stuff about Madera County's history.
