TJs Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Madera

So I had someone pick up aome food today. When we buy food here, I always order the Al Pastor burrito no beans. The previous time I ordered Al Pastor no beans you guys puts whole beans in the burrito. So I took the beans out. This time around I opened my burrito just to make sure and yes there wasnt any beans. But this time the burrito had Al Pastor, rice and whole bunch of pieces of chard asada. Why would someone throw in a spoonful of asada to a pork burrito? The order was for extra Al Pastor and rice to take the place of no beans. Instead a spoonful of crunchy chard asada went in. Two years buying Al Pastor burrito and it always contains just Al Pastor. And lastly, this cup of rotten salsa was put into with the fresh cups of salsa. Thats the way it came not even half full and it had gone bad. I dont understand why these issues were in my order. Any customer who wouldve gotten this type of order, chances are they would be thinking it was done on purpose, because thats how it looks like to me. Restaurants dont make these types of miistakes. Who in their right mind cannot see that theres something odd with a cup of salsa while putting it in a bag.The person who went to get the food and paid did not leave a tip. Is it because there was no tip? If I wouldnt have seen the cup of bad salsa, one of our teens couldve mistaken it for fresh salsa, ate it and probably by lying in a hospital bed with food poisoning. And by the way, the salsa was not the usual salsa that comes with our orders. It was a different salsa. Its was the same salsa from the bad salsa in the cup. In fact I didnt notice it at all til I grabbed a cup. NOW HERES THE THING, WE HAVE DONE NOTHING TO DISRESPECT YOUR BUSINESS, YOUR COOKS OR YOUR FRONT END STAFF. WEVE NEVER SPOKEN ANYTHING NEGATIVE TOWARDS TJs. Is this what happens when customers dont leave tips because of a specific order? I NO LONGER TRUST YOUR...

This place is awesome. I love the atmosphere. The music, the bar tenders, especially George and his daughter. Geno is ok, too. Lol. The food is spectacular. I had 1 chicken and 1 fish taco and a plate of beans. I thought they said the total wrong when i got my bill! So, so reasonable and so good. I haven't been here in many years but George remembered me. Talked for a bit and is always so pleasant. My favorite place to go to for a cold beer, specialty drink, or anything thing they create for me. Go and have some food, drinks and enjoy a great crowd., Also whenever there is a game on they have it up on the tvs. If not you can just ask them, and it will...

I used to go to this place often after work and loved their tacos. In the past month I've called them to discuss pricing for their food in order to have an order placed for a large group at work and I was notified that the price differs depending on the cook that day. Hmm... no thank you. I called today to request that 10 tacos be prepared separately so the tortillas aren't soggy by time I get home & was notified I need to call 2-3 days in advance. I tried to give this place my business but I'm moving on... Good luck with...
