K-Food Market — Attraction in Madison

I'm telling ya, this is a hidden gem in Madison. The definition of a local Mom and Pop Shop. Small, curated selection of goods with a coherent theme. The prices are slightly higher priced than larger competitors, but that's understandable. It's a great store to pop in and grab what you need and pop right back out. It's worth exploring if you've never been there before, but once you become a regular you're shopping time will be drastically reduced.

Oh yeah, they have a whole section dedicated to nori. If you love seaweed, this is the place to get it. Huge selection of 'em. Om yum yum. This is the BEST mom and pop Korean grocery store! Madison doesn't have a very big Korean population (from what I can tell) so there aren't any huge Korean grocery stores like Hmart but this one really has all the essentials. I come here probably once a week to fulfill my cravings for Korean food/snacks/groceries and it is small but generally has everything you need. Highly recommend this place! A very clean and well-organized store that has a surprisingly huge number of Korean items for sale. Many items have multiple brands available and delves into other nationalities for food items that are commonly used in Korean cooking (mainly Japanese, but also some Chinese). A great frozen food section that includes Korean cuts of meat, fish cakes, and frozen treats!
