Mahwah Public Library — Attraction in Mahwah

The best library there is. My toddler and I enjoy the jiggle wiggle (music class), story-time, crafts, playing in the many children stations, borrowing books…They also have so many programs for teens and adults; Museum passes, concerts, etc. The self check out machines are so modern and user friendly. Also, the staff is so warm, friendly and ready to help if needed. The spaces are so clean, organized, well decorated and welcoming. We are just very lucky to live in Mahwah and to be able to enjoy the library facilities and all...

We love this library. It's close to home and the kids section is amazing. We often shop on the bookshelf near the window (which seem to be new releases/staff picks), and then go into the aisles. Our daughter loves library day and we love renting new books for the week to try them out before committing to adding them to our collection :) The staff is also wonderful, and checkout/return is easy and seamless. Highly recommend if you're in Mahwah or Bergen...

Used to come here after school a lot... the upgrades they did with the new conference rooms and the teen floor were amazing. So many memories from this place. The librarians are kind and friendly and some even remember me even though I moved a few years ago. I wish all libraries were like this one. It’s more than a library, it’s a hangout spot, and above all a community center. So much love...
