I recently visited ProAm Pickleball in Mahwah on a Saturday morning and was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. Here are a few key highlights: The courts feature Pro-Cushion tennis surfaces, which are significantly easier on the knees—an important consideration for players like myself with knee and ankle concerns. The court layout is exceptionally well-designed, with ample space behind the service lines and between courts. This thoughtful spacing minimizes mid-game interruptions and enhances the playing experience. The owners, Raj and Rami, are consistently present and easily approachable, which adds a personal and welcoming touch to the facility. Open-play sessions are well organized, with Raj thoughtfully coordinating player pairings to ensure competitive and enjoyable matches.

Excellent new addition to our local pickleball scene. Comfy surface that's easy on the joints. Hi quality nets. Hi enough ceilings for lobs. Right off of Route 17 South in Mahwah. Owners were very nice. Right now they have 3 full and one half/practice court but may be adding more in the future. Very minor criticisms would be that two of the courts are close together making ATP's much harder than they already are and stray balls will likely interrupt play some. The third court, the right side is close to the wall making Ernie's impossible and one side the serving space is a bit limited, but really not an issue to me. I had the chance to check out the brand new pickleball facility, and I am beyond impressed! The courts are top-notch—well-maintained, spacious, great lighting, cushioned court surface and perfect for both beginners and experienced players. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they really go the extra mile to make sure everyone has a great experience.
