Have come here multiple times to enjoy the views of the pond. It's peaceful despite being on a significant road and having an abundance of overhead powerlines as a key part of the view.
There's plenty of seating around the pond, some of it shaded and there's plenty of parking on the lower side of the pond (in addition to the parking near the playground). There's accessible seating for those who can't manage overly rocky or uneven terrain.
