Jane's Hallmark Shop — Attraction in Maine Township

Terrible experience and so dehumanizing. I was uncomfortable the whole time once I realized my family and I were being followed around by some white lady around her late 60s wearing a gray jacket who worked at the store. Whenever I turned around, she was a few feet behind me. Did not enjoy, would prefer to be independent while shopping. She asked my family a couple times if we were alright, needed help, etc, which wasn't an issue until I realized she was following us throughout the store. Makes me question why we were the only ones being followed around, was it because of our skin color? We were just looking around like other people, taking our time, what exactly made us suspicious to her compared to the other customers? I didn't see her following around OTHER customers, so why us? At some point she pretended to be in line waiting to buy something, but she was an employee. I knew she was an employee because I saw her go behind the counter. Absolutely...
