I went down to PR on a solo trip in June of 2023 and wanted to enjoy my Sunday before the unpredictable rain came upon me, which could be a hit or miss but AnyWho. Booked myself a 1 hour ATV tour here at Carabalí , So much fun 🤗
My tour rider “ Mike Baker “ was the BEST I GIVE HIM 10 STARS ⭐️
I Definitely will do the two hour tour when I go back and hang out in PR, but because the weather rains on and off, I wanted to get a nice sunny day in before I left in a few days back to Chicago.
Such a beautiful trail, and to see some wildlife right along the trail just hanging out watching all of us ride ATVs was beautiful 😍 All the open lush land beautiful plants , let’s not forget the VIEWS,
Stopped for a bathroom break at the little kiosk area near the river, where you can get Pinchos, which are delicious and a piña colada drink in a fresh coconut. No alcohol of course because why? Well of course we’re all driving……. Lol sorry guys gotta keep it safe.
Everyone that worked at the park was really really nice and explained things if you had questions. I had an issue with my helmet so they help me get the right fit so I’d be comfortable and they made sure my ATV was working properly so I can enjoy myself riding the trails...... even when you check in at the counter the people were just so nice.
It wasn’t super busy that Sunday and while I waited for my ride to take me back to my Airbnb the staff was nice enough to let me pet one of the horses for a little.....I was happy with my 10mins of petting a beautiful horse. Even the horse keepers were nice and welcomed me.
I wanted to go horseback riding as well while I was down there but I didn’t have enough time that day to do everything I wanted to do with the little time a had left so I just chose the ATV . When I come back next time, I definitely will be horseback riding and ride ATV
And just a heads up if you’re not renting a car down there or have a ride that is not Uber, it’s better to book and pay for a ride to take you to and from the park, it’s a third-party company and totally worth it ( The park gives you the info) You might have to share your ride with some other people they pick up on the way to the park , I only had one other couple that was with me that Sunday and I had a solo ride back but totally worth it .
Your not gonna find an Uber to bring you back home I will say that, so don’t even give yourself a headache book in advance. The ride there was also beautiful . To sit back and relax, and look at all the beautiful landscape is amazing 🤩
Thank you Carabalí for making my Sunday morning a beautiful experience while I was in PR and thank you Mike Baker for being such a great guide. Very professional and informative keep up the good work !!!
See you all next time for a longer adventure
Much Love & God...
Read moreI previously rated Carabalí Rainforest Park with 5 stars (below my 5 stars review), and during my last visit to Puerto Rico, it was one of the highlights. Naturally, we were excited to return—this time with my five-year-old son, who loves horses. Unfortunately, our experience this time was far from what we expected, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars.
Our horseback riding tour was marred by unprofessional behavior from our guide, Raul. Throughout the ride, he was constantly texting and checking his phone, showing little regard for the group. When he wasn’t on his phone, he entertained himself by galloping back and forth on his horse, acting more like a teenager than a guide.
Thankfully, our other guide, Alex, worked hard to make up for Raul’s behavior. Alex was attentive, kept the group together, and tried his best to create a positive experience for everyone. At one point, Alex even asked Raul to stop using his phone and focus on his job. Instead of improving, Raul responded with loud arguments and inappropriate language.
As the only Spanish-speaking family in the group, we understood everything being said, including some profanities, which prompted my husband to ask them to stop using such language in front of our young son. It was disheartening to witness Alex handling the group alone while also managing Raul’s unprofessional behavior.
While this visit was disappointing, I still believe Carabalí has the potential to offer great experiences—Alex proved that with his dedication. I hope management addresses these issues to ensure future visitors have a consistently enjoyable time.
Here are some photos capturing Raul’s behavior during the ride.
I had an amazing experience at Carabalí Rainforest Adventure Park! The staff was incredibly friendly specially David and Billy, knowledgeable, and made the adventure fun and safe from start to finish. The horseback riding through the lush rainforest was a highlight, offering stunning views and an up-close encounter with nature. The whole park is well-organized, and they cater to all levels of adventurers. A must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable outdoor experience in...
Read moreWhile on vacation around Thanksgiving week, we visited Carabali twice! Our first experience was on a Sunday, we went horseback riding for 2 hours. Our guides were Jetsa and Jonathan. It was my second time horseback riding and it was the truly the highlight of our vacation. My horse was Maelo, a laidback horse who was always at the back of the line. The horses were all beautiful and the trail we took was awesome. After about 30 or 45 minutes we made it to the beach where we took a pit stop at the bar on the beach. It was so cool!! The food was out of this world and the drinks were delicious. Being on the beach, eating empanadas and having a tropical cocktail after riding a horse is something everyone should experience. Our guides Jonathan and Jetsa made the experience even better. I had the pleasure of speaking with both of them for a while and got to know them both. They were very skilled riders and their passion for horses was inspiring. It was awesome to see how much the horses respected and loved them. I learned a lot about the island, horses, and listened to great music. I would recommend this to everyone. Everyone who works here is so inviting and so kind.
A couple of days later we came back for the 2 hour ATV experience. Our guide was Pacheco! I was lucky to be up in front behind the guide and omg was this fun!! Seeing El Yunque, riding through the mud, learning more about the island, and stopping at one point at a river. Definitely wasn’t expecting to get muddy but it was worth it. Puerto Rico is so beautiful and full of history and being able to see it in these forms and be taken through with the natives of the island is a wholesome experience. Checo was fun, friendly, and very informative. Literally wanted to book a third experience when we were leaving. If we had more time we would have!
Carabali park is awesome and full of many experiences that you...
