We stopped here on our way out of El Yunque before going to the airport and wow what a note to end on before returning home. Great food, gorgeous views, staff were so friendly. We easily found parking, this is a food truck along the road so there's space to pull over on the shoulder right in front. Despite being on the road it's not loud, I genuinely forgot we were right off the road while eating as the traffic is just people going to and fro El Yunque, not busy or noisy. You're also sitting right beside the river with views of the rainforest in the distance, very scenic.

After an all seafood trip we did the chicken mofongo with the creole sauce, so delicious. Huge serving, we ordered one to share and still had plantains leftover to eat in the car. Plenty of sauce, very tasty. We also got a side order of the coconut rice - it is a big serving! But so worth it, that rice was maybe my favorite food from the whole trip. I dream of that coconut rice. We also ordered the cocada to drink, it's full of coconut and cinnamon and was to die for. Sweet but still refreshing....

Awesome place! The owners are very friendly and also speak English well enough to explain the menu to a gringo such as myself.

The Mofongopleta with steak and chicken is by far the best thing I’ve had in Puerto Rico so far. I loved it everything about it. It is a lot of food and quite heavy so could be shared.

The wife loved her conch monfongo with garlic sauce. She commented that conch was very fresh.

Our son ordered the chicken Lo Mein and he also liked it. This Lo Mein is nothing even close to what you imagine a traditional Lo Mein would taste like in America. I would describe it as having creole flavors which is a good thing. I just wanted to point out the difference for others.

The vibe is really nice located next to a beautiful river. Also for my spice loving people they make homemade habanero hot sauce which is basically blended habaneros with some oil which went nicely with everything. She even gave us some to go because we loved it so much.

Highly recommend this place don’t hesitate to stop here. They’re also known for having other dishes that we...
