Loved the nature scenes! The train station was really cool but it was closed both times we drove through (coming and going on vacation). The walking trails and view decks had beautiful views and photo opportunities. The kids loved the playground. Fish hatchery was empty, so we couldn't do to the gift shop. But had a few wildlife in it. The bridge was pretty and the generator room was interesting to read about! The welcome center was in the middle of renovations so no bathrooms but the gift shop was open and we got a magnet for our trip wall. Friendly people!!!

I made a quick stop when i saw a small nice looking lake and a dam from US highway 63. It was interesting to find out about biggest spring in Arkansas which outlet creates this small beautiful Spring Lake. Last century they built a dam and a power plant later on it. Now it is a small interesting historical place. Also it was good to know about Reunion of the Blue and Gray that first time took place in Mammoth Springs and The Big Gun that was a participant of this event every year.

Great place to stop for a break from traveling, also Great place for a walk and to get information, maps, or just a snack. They just updated it new bathrooms, lobby; get a souvenir something to snack on or even feed the ducks. Just a wonderful place with great atmosphere!

Went through the welcome center to rent the pavilion for my wedding next month and was really pleased with the experience. The guy was very friendly and helpful. We had been to the pavilion before, but that was about six years ago. So he took out a map, pointed out where to make the turn off by the overlook [even told us where the overlook was up the road] and basically made sure we knew exactly how to get there. He also told us that if someone's there the day of the ceremony to come back to the center and tell him and that someone will take care of it. ALSO, stop in there next time you're in town because there's a little section inside that's filled with stone necklaces, loose stones, and little animals carved of...
