Firat of all - Bobs furniture is full of amazing deals!! kind and helpful staff. Why shop anywhere else? I wouldn't, especially after the experience we had...👍 My husband and I went into Bob's just to look at media stands and check out a store we had never been in. We met their awesome associate Mohammed, He was truly a man of integrity and extremely transparent and forthcoming with any question we had, he answered directly and truthfully. Mohammed knows his stuff and he is an Asset to this company. So much changed that day we walked into Bob's. 1st of all we became die hard Bob's discount furniture fans!! It was everything we dreamed about. I promise you, You dont get customer service like this anywhere else. At Bob's you do! We ended up buying a whole bed room set, with a matress and the latest adjustable base that features BT speakers, snore response, massage with the lumbar and neck support, plus head and feet. Let me back up and tell you - We were so impressed with the the whole experience and our sales associate Mohammed, plus all the store offers and does for their customers that we decided to cancel a tempurpeduc matress and adjustable base order that was about to be delivered from Ashley's furniture. We decided to go with Bob's discount furniture for our matress and base purchase plus all the additional we bought and will buy in the near future..It was just such a great choice and rather Mind blowing that Bob's furniture is such a top notch store with so many incentives, plus fair prices and quality furniture.. Bob's furniture does not tell you lies in order to get a sale. They give you space if you need it, but are right there when you need them and they will answer any question you throw at them, truthfully. They have integrity, informative sales associates and the prices at Bob's cant be beat. The bob o pedic mattress, is in my opinion, even better than the tempurpedic matress and for almost half the price!!!! The sales team is awesome. We were definitely blessed to have Mohammed as our sales guy and Aileen the store manager who was also great, she helped us finalize everything and make sure we were completely satisfied and happy. She went over everything we bought to ensure the order was correct. That meant alot to us. Mohammed went above and beyond to explain how long Bob's furniture has been in business, as well as how they started as a matress store many years ago after Bob was in a terrible accident and could not find a matress he loved. Bob started a business and made comfortable matresses. (Fun side note) "There is even a half and half matress, which we decided upon. It offers plush on one side and firm on the other, for couples that need different densities.. Also the memory foam and ect comes right out of Texas, so it's made in America. We like that alot!! I learned alot as you can read but all these things are important to me. If its not important to you, they'll leave you alone. Mohammed was never pushy, yet was right there when we needed him. I can't say enough about our experience, it was just the best ever.. I know I wrote alot, but they took so much time to make us happy, that I can only hope that the time I put into writing this review, will make them feel that same gratitude, and will help bring the world to know Bob's furniture, the way it was shown to us. Read moreWe purchased two living room sets from Bob's Discount Furniture. We shopped around everywhere and at the end decided on Bob's. Our salesman Jared was fantastic, that much I can say, very nice guy. He was not pushy at all. However, the furniture doesn't hold up. We bought two different sets. So far the all leather one has been ok. However, we don't sit in it very often. The motor did go out once on the couch, shortly after we bought it and we got it replaced. The part was supposed to come in the mail and never did and we had to go pick it up and replace it ourselves. The cloth furniture was a disaster. Very shortly after we bought it it started falling apart. Two separate times, maybe three, they came to re-stuff it and fix it. We are talking about both the couch and the love seat. It got to be so uncomfortable you couldn't even sit on it. It sure was deceiving because we thought it was good quality. Finally, I called Jared and they did an exchange. If you have to do this, just make sure you do it within a year, because after that it sounds like you're kind of screwed even if you bought that warranty 5 years for $500. Sounds like people have had to use it and it doesn't turn out so well for them. I had to buy a bunch of different stuff to use my full credit. Because I didn't want to buy any furniture again after that experience. We went in the showroom and he helped us with a mattress but after that we couldn't get a hold of him on the phone. We had to deal with several different people. I think he was in some sort of training, in his defense. But you think he could have called us back at some point. We bought a rocker glider. It's basically for when company comes, so I'm not sure of the quality and how long it will hold up. It really hasn't been sit in much. It was broken when it came and they had to replace it. That was a fiasco as well. Bought a dining room kitchen and chair and it's kind of junky, had a scratch on it when it arrived. The service is so poor I didn't even want to deal with having it replaced. Again, it's only for holidays. Also bought a mattress for our grown daughter, she only sleeps in it about 12 times a year so hopefully it will last. Had a meditation pillow ordered and it took them months to give my money back because it never shipped. I guess they gave me my money back in the end because it was so little, but they don't normally give money back, they make you exchange and buy something else. Customer service is absolutely terrible. They really don't give a crap about you after the original purchase and are having problems. Read moreSCAM ARTIST!!!! The sales representatives, as well as the closers in the back, will say whatever they need to say to get the deal done!! They will lie to you about the terms and conditions to your contracts to get the sale!
They told us 0% interest over the first four months and that there was a zero prepayment penalty, and that there weren't any fees associated with paying out early!
Three weeks later, we try to pay off the couch in full, and the price was an astonishing $600 more than what we agreed to!!! Called the store to figure out what was wrong as we adamantly asked multiple times with different wording to make sure there wasn't going to be extra fees or penalties for early payout and they assured us that there wasn't!! We called up to tell them to make it right and couldn't get anyone on the phone! Called over 20 times and they put us on an endless loop with waiting tone and after 10-20 minutes would hang up the phone! They knew we were frustrated so they started playing with us, they would ask what the problem was, and I told the guy the issue, he then repeated, could you tell me the issue? He did this for the 5th time and I heard laughing in the background! These people that work there think it's hilarious! I said excuse me, but this is not funny. You guys are charging me way more money than we agreed upon, and now are messing with me, I would like your name since you're sitting here making a game of this and they told me exact words. Don't (insert cuss word) worry about my name, and then hung up.
I decided to go to the store and see what they have to say about it since I can't get them on the phone, and they let me know and admitted that they gave me the wrong information, and that they are sorry, that I should contact the financing company and hopefully they can help. They took zero responsibility! I contacted the financing company and they said "you should have read the contract" but they never gave me one! They said what I wanted to hear, and sent me out the door! They will rob you blind, and then when you call up there, they will mess with you and hope that you just move along and pay them!
We have consulted with an attorney and paid them a retainer! We are also working with the attorney general! We are sharing our evidence as well as our video recordings in the store and phone conversations to assist in their investing of consumer fraud that they have been repeatedly doing to their customers with zero remorse!
If you also have been a victim to this fraud, contact the attorney general! Tell them your story! These people must be stopped!
