An absolutely passionately run zoo with people who put tireless effort and care into each creature. Just hearing what they do to keep some of their insects healthy and happy is just as fascinating as learning about the creatures themselves. If you're a bug lover, this place was meant for you. I visited with my husband and our moms for a low-key Friday afternoon activity. The staff member was incredibly knowledgable and obviously loved her job! It's a small "zoo" but there are tons of insects of all kinds there. They charge $3 to cover food and care for the critters and it's well worth it.
